NBA contests are up in the Underdog lobby. What I want to do here is give a brief tutorial on how this game is played for anyone unfamiliar. Forgive me for some of the obvious stuff, but there might be some reading this who have never played any best ball before. What’s pointless to you could be helpful to others!

If you’re wondering why this game has become so popular, it’s because it’s a joy to play, there’s some edge for the savvy drafters, and there’s a crazy amount of money to win. Killer combo, right? You get to do the fun part (drafting your team) and ignore the not-so-fun part (managing your team). Other sites will be offering NBA contests shortly, but for now, we’ll focus on Underdog since they’re the only ones sick enough to release one this early.
