Sleeper has updated its Dynasty ADP, here is a market update, analysis, and ETR Rankings changes.

Sleeper Dynasty Market Movers (6/30/2021)

Note: While ADP is most relevant for Dynasty startups, players in an active league should monitor changes for trade considerations. Positional Sleeper ADPs cited are using the average of standard PPR and superflex ADPs for simplification.

RISERS

Chase Edmonds (+3.2 in SF, +1.3 in 1QB) – A bit of a confusing move since Edmonds’ situation has not changed much of late, but the market may just be catching on to Edmonds’ value. We have Edmonds as our RB25 (RB29 on Sleeper) due to his projected passing-game role and potential upside. James Conner figures to be involved in some version of the Kenyan Drake role from 2020.

Ryan Tannehill (+2.9 in SF) – The addition of Julio Jones strengthens Tannehill’s outlook for 2021. He is under contract for at least the next two seasons, and has consistently performed at a high level with the Titans. He is our QB18 in superflex (QB19 on Sleeper).

Jakobi Meyers (+32.2 in SF, +5.5 in 1QB) – Meyers has gained buzz as the potential top WR for the Patriots. He is coming off of a strong season (59/729) considering the QB issues in New England, but will have to compete with Nelson Agholor and two free-agent additions at TE. He is our WR74 (WR93 on Sleeper).

Tevin Coleman (+4.4 in SF, +36.4 in 1QB) – The Jet backfield has been a bit of a mystery behind Michael Carter, who most presume to see the biggest workload this season. Given his familiarity with the system, Coleman has lept LaMical Perine in ADP. He is our RB59 (RB63 on Sleeper), but is further ahead of the other backs than ADP.

FALLERS

Tua Tagovailoa (-3.7 in SF) – The market is likely reacting to negative practice reports, which we think may not be meaningful. Although we prefer Dynasty QB targets to have more rushing upside, he is still someone we like at ADP. He is our QB12 in superflex formats (QB16 on Sleeper) after Miami made premium investments at receiver, tight end, and on the offensive line this off-season.

Courtland Sutton (-2.3 in SF, -1.3 in 1QB) – Sutton tore his ACL in Week 2 of 2020, and finds himself surrounded by other talented weapons in Denver. He is behind Jerry Jeudy both in ADP and our rankings, coming in as the WR30 (WR33 on Sleeper).

ETR Value Changes

Moved D’Andre Swift from RB5 to RB7 (-9 in SF/TE Premium, -7 in 1QB) — Still ahead of the market on Sleeper (RB9), but initially too high for a player in a likely bad offense, and potentially threatened by Jamaal Williams.

Moved Antonio Gibson from RB12 to RB10 (+12, +8) — No longer appears to be limited by the toe injury that cut his 2020 season short. Big ceiling if Gibson can soak up more receiving work. Gibson is the RB14 currently on Sleeper.

Moved Aaron Rodgers from QB19 to QB24 in SF/TE Premium (-20, -11) — The rift with Green Bay does not appear to be improving, and missing time in 2021 appears to be more in the range of outcomes than before. No positional change in 1QB fantasy due to the replaceability of the position in that format. Rodgers is an astronomical QB12 on Sleeper.

Moved Leonard Fournette from RB37 to RB49 (-41, -46) — We’re taking a stand on Ronald Jones as the back to own in Tampa Bay after news leaked that Fournette was nearly cut in December prior to Jones’ battle with injury and COVID. The market is closer to our original ranking (RB34 on Sleeper).

Moved Jacob Harris from TE43 to TE36 in SF/TE Premium (+53), TE43 to TE40 in 1QB (+31) — The buzz on Harris has been strong and consistent out of L.A. There is still a dearth of target options on the Rams, but he is definitely more of a late-round target than a dart throw at this point, particularly in TE premium formats. Harris has also gone up 11.4 spots in Sleeper SF ADP (TE37).

Situations to Watch

Bills Backfield Situation

We have a tight value gap between the Buffalo RBs – with Zack Moss ahead by only four RB slots – but there would be a massive shift in value if one of Moss or Devin Singletary could usurp the other almost completely. Neither RB did much with their opportunities in 2020. Moss and Singletary have Sleeper ADPs of RB37 and RB42 respectively.

WR Roles for Chargers

With Joe Lombardi as the offensive coordinator for the Chargers, there has been some buzz that Mike Williams is set to obtain the X-receiver role – the same place Michael Thomas lined up for the Saints during his tenure. This seems like typical summer smoke, as Keenan Allen would clearly be better suited for such a role, and production does not tend to transfer so seamlessly. For now, we have Williams as our WR59 (WR59 on Sleeper), but this is worth monitoring closely.

Joe Mixon’s Backup

There is no doubt that Mixon will be the lead back this year for the Bengals, and he may have the highest workload of his career in 2021. With that said, a clear backup to Mixon would make for an excellent end-of-bench stash for dynasty leaguers. Recent reports have Chris Evans impressing as a receiver out of the backfield, while Samaje Perine recently signed a two-year extension. Trayveon Williams remains lurking in the shadows. We currently side with the veterans (Williams and Perine are RB77 and 78 respectively) with Evans lagging behind (RB91). Evans has seen a jump in ADP in Sleeper superflex leagues, going up 28.8 overall (RB71).
