Scottie Scheffler packed the punch in Memphis for his most dominant win of 2026, nearly doubling up the entire field. We talked about how TPC Southwind rewards the best ball strikers, so it really shouldn’t have been too much of a surprise to see Scheffler play as well as he did, especially when he putts that well. But ownership still was relatively in check at $13,500, as we’ve seen a victory doesn’t necessarily mean he’s in the winning lineup at that price. But of course, an eight-stroke win answers that question. Plus, the rest of the higher-priced golfers failed to really challenge Scottie, so there really wasn’t any other way to get it done outside of Scheffler into the $8K range, then a load of values. What matters, though, is what’s ahead in the small-field, no-cut-style events throughout the FedEx playoffs. DraftKings did its best by pricing Scheffler up to $14,400 for this week and keeping the $6,000 floor intact, making the click a touch harder than it was in Memphis. DraftKings is bringing back its Mega Millionaire to close out the DFS golf season in style, while FanDuel is even doing a $200K-to-first contest for its Monster, so there’s a ton on tap in Louisville.

Regarding the Value Report at the FedEx St. Jude, it was ugly — no way around it. Outside of Jordan Spieth holding the first-round lead, it really was poor the remaining 54 holes for the group of five. Spieth’s efforts sadly weren’t enough to crack the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings, nor were Keith Mitchell’s, as he was the odd man out, landing at No. 51 and falling outside the Signature Event cutoff for 2027 as well. Michael Brennan actually pulled in substantially more ownership than I would have thought, even with the course-fit question marks. People are bought in on the ceiling after being rewarded at the Wyndham Championship, and it makes me even more curious how he’ll be played at potentially a much better fit this week. And then for the bottom two, Jordan Smith and Sahith Theegala, it was just poor from the start. I still think the rookie season that Smith had was quality, and he’s somebody who will be targeted frequently next season. As for Sahith, we just need the variance dialed in a bit more to get back to a baseline that contends as a top-20 player on Tour next season.
